Our
Story
Society is becoming more fragmented every year.
Children grow up without steady role models.
Adults are pulled away from home by work.
Elders — once the anchors of community — stand at the margins.
Our answer is to build a physical place that facilitates the cultural conditions that allow humans to thrive: connection, presence, and shared life.
Centered around children, wellbeing and healthy maturation

Why Now?
Wild Roots is outgrowing its current space. More families are seeking an alternative, and we can only welcome them properly if we can also host them for stays.
To grow with integrity — and to offer the space children and parents truly need — we must move to Herdade do Passo now.

Our Solution
We are creating a steward‑run farm, centered around education and supported by aligned local businesses.
A place where families live, work, and play on one land.
Where children grow through real life and education adapts to their gifts.
Where adults mature through responsibility and presence.
Where elders return to the center as carriers of wisdom.
Where nature becomes the classroom.
This is not a retreat from society — it is a blueprint for its renewal.
Meet 'Herdade do Passo'!

Why a Farm?
A farm is more than land — it’s a platform for life.
It allows us to grow our own organic food and share the abundance with the neighborhood.
But it also becomes fertile ground for everything that grows around it:
-
woodworking and repair workshops
-
a car and mechanics garage
-
a tree nursery for reforesting the region
-
herbal medicine and natural care
-
composting and soil regeneration
-
farm‑based learning for children
-
on‑site livelihoods for families
-
seasonal gatherings and cultural events
-
(Online) Learning community
The farm is where nature, work, and community meet. It creates meaningful jobs and in turn, a place where healthy role models guide the generations to come.
"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"
Your Impact
Every contribution directly supports:
• developing the culture
• establishing the first on‑site livelihoods
• restoring soil, water, and biodiversity
• creating the environment for child‑centered, gift‑based education
• building the first phase of the steward‑run village
You are not funding a project — you are enabling a generational shift.
